Sometimes the winner isn’t clear after the initial head-to-head match. That’s why we have tie-breaking rounds that see players going one-on-one once again. If the tie is not broken, players will play another tie-breaker match, and so on until the winner is decided.
In other types of matches, such as tournaments with more than two participants, players with identical scores will have the winner decided by who posted the score first.
